EPALE - Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe

Welcome to EPALE!

EPALE is the official digital platform of the European Commission (EC) for Adult Education. It is Europes biggest multilingual, open membership community and a supportive tool for adult learning professionals. The platform launched in October 2014, with 37 participant European states and more than 130 000 registered users up to date and is available in 32 languages of the European Union.

Registration is available to all individuals and organizations professionally involved in adult education. These are educators and adult educators, academic staff and researchers, policymakers, universities, colleges, associations, and non-governmental organizations involved in promoting adult education.

EPALE users, both individuals and organizations, can make their profile known to the wider public. They can search out for articles, news, reports, surveys, educational material, and statistics from EC official publications as well as publish articles or participate in seminars, conferences, courses, and workshops. They can also participate in communities of practice and collaborative spaces on specific adult education topics making effective use of the opportunity to exchange expertise and good practices with experts and adult education organizations from other European countries.

On EPALE you can browse the latest news and blogs, see all resources, join the discussions, and get informed on the upcoming events, on a national as well as European level, in relation to adult education. Furthermore, the Partner Search Tool aims at the exchange of ideas and the creation of networking opportunities, between individuals and organizations, for further creating European Partnerships within the Erasmus+ programme.

EPALE Cyprus is co-funded by the C and the Republic of Cyprus. It is managed by the National Support Service (NSS) of the platform, responsible for its dissemination in Cyprus and, is supervised by the Department of Secondary Technical, Vocational Education and Training of the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sport, and Youth.
