European and International Policies in Adult Education
The Office follows observes European and international policies in the fields of Lifelong Learning and Adult Education and utilizes best practices, initiatives and tools produced and undertaken by competent authorities and organisations, such as the European Commission, the UNESCO Institute of Lifelong Learning, Cedefop and the Eurydice Network. This, in turn, enhances the improvement of existing policies in the field of Adult Education and at the same time helps to develop new, based on national priorities, strategic goals and needs.

At the same time, information on Adult Education internationally can be retrieved from the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning website https://uil.unesco.org/adult-education.
